Ingmar Bergman, el hombre que desnudó el alma

To be honest, I am not someone who especially admires people over others, less those I do not

know. However, there was a movie that has marked me especially; "Silence" by Ingmar

Bergman. This director was born on July 14, 1918, his father was a Lutheran priest.

His work was strongly influenced by punishment, guilt, and sin. He himself affirmed

that the punishments in his childhood were something totally natural that was not

questioned. Sometimes they were just blows, but over time they became more complex

 to quite sophisticated forms.

What I like about his work, especially about the film that he named above, is his way of

approaching conflicts, which are always heavy, terrible and distressing, but also have a

metaphysical level that turn into unattainable subtleties. In my opinion a work makes me

fall in love when it becomes immeasurable, and in my opinion he has succeeded.
